making FASHION sense

The exhibition Making FASHION Sense of the House of Electronic Arts Basel (HEK) dealt with the radical transformation of fashion through technology. Robot arms and mixed reality, holograms and drones have long since made their appearance on the international catwalks. Making FASHION Sense deals with the fundamental transformation of creative processes in the fashion industry through technology, as well as artistic endeavours towards more sustainability: fashion that makes sense. More than 20 positions of artists and designers had to be positioned in space according to the content topics society - individual - materiality – virtuality. To structure the course and protect the works, showcases were suggested in which the individual works were staged. In addition to the exhibition, three store windows with works by Christophe Guberan, Flora Miranda and Ling Tan were created at Globus Basel.
